Happy (black) Friday everyone. If you did go out and brave the crowds, I hope you got some great deals this morning. Here’s what’s going on this weekend if you’re still looking to make plans.
Do: The One of a Kind Christmas Show starts this weekend at the Direct Energy Centre and runs until December 7th. There will be over 800 exhibitors selling unique jewelery, clothing furniture and other hand made items. A great way to start your Christmas shopping.
See: Calvalcade of Lights is back this weekend with the tree lightening ceromony at Nathan Philips Square. There will be fireworks and musical performances from people like Kardinal Official (I think every Torontonian needs to see him once, he is just so Toronto). There will also be other lightening ceromonies throughout the city.
Eat/Drink: The Christmas Market is back at the Distillery District. I missed the event last year so I’m looking forward to going this weekend, hopefully it won’t be too cold. All my friends are excited about the mulled wine, but I’m more of hot chocolate-and-baileys kind of girl. There will also be lots of food vendors, I’m sure to make myself sick on delicious things tonight! The market runs until December 21st and is closed Mondays.
I hope you all have a fabulous weekend!
