Happy Friday, what a beautiful day and what hopes to be a beautiful weekend! Here’s a few things going on this weekend if you’re still trying to make plans.
Do: Earlier this week, I ran a contest thanks to the Everything To Do With Sex Show happening this weekend. If you weren’t one of the lucky winners, you can still buy tickets for the show and enjoy this exciting event. With something for everyone, this weekend promises to be a great time.
See: imagineNATIVE began on Wednesday and runs until Sunday at the TIFF Bell Lightbox. Celebrating it’s 15th year, this festival covers a variety of topics and genres including romance, action and documentary. Tickets start at $7 and are available online.
Eat: This weekend, Burlington has gluten-intolerants and celiacs covered with Canada’s Gluten-Free Market. Along with the extensive market, your ticket also includes entrance into the beautiful Royal Botanical Gardens.
Drink: This technically falls on Monday, but I think it’s so important, it should be included. Monday is a big day in Toronto, it’s been an interesting four years in the city and Monday will be the beginning of another 4 year chapter in the city. A number of bars will be airing the election results in the bar, so get out, vote and then go enjoy a beverage. So far, I’ve seen events at the Gladstone but I’ll be sure to keep twitter going with anything I find.
