Happy Friday! It’s been a short week but that doesn’t make Friday any less exciting. Here’s what’s going on in the city for this mid-October weekend.
Do: If you’re unlike me, denying that winter is just around the corner and actually enjoy the season, there is a show for you this weekend. The Toronto Snow Show is on now and runs until Sunday at the International Centre near the airport. It has all of your snow needs covered.
See: It’s October so that must mean somewhere in the city it is fully acceptable for you to show up in lingerie. By that, I of course mean that the Rocky Horror Picture Show is showing on stage in the city. You can catch it this year at the Lower Ossington Theatre. Some of the shows are already sold out but there are tickets still available for some performances.
Eat/Drink: The no-brainer for eat and drink this weekend is the Delicious Food Show. It’s happening all weekend at the Direct Energy Centre, last year it was at the Better Living Centre, which just leads me to believe that there’s somehow going to be even more to eat this year! This is definitely the show to come hungry to and although not mentioned in the name, there was lots of delicious beers, cocktails and wines at last year’s show.
