Happy almost summer everyone! World Pride is kicking off this weekend and there’s a bunch of festivals happening for the first weekend of summer, here’s a few ideas!

Do: The Redpath Waterfront Festival is happening all weekend. There will be activities for kids, food, drinks and the flyboarding championships. There will also be a Worldpride Party on Sunday with food, a bar and DJs all afternoon. Be sure to check the website for all the activities.

See: The Toronto Jazz Festival began yesterday and runs until June 28th. There are performances all over the city including a number of free shows outdoors at Nathan Phillips Square and Shops at Don Mills.

Eat: The Junction is hosting a Summer Solstice Festival on the longest day of the year tomorrow. From noon until midnight there will be entertainment, shopping and plenty of eating to be had.

Drink: The Toronto Wine and Spirit Festival is also happening this weekend, yesterday was the first evening but it runs tonight from 5pm-10pm and tomorrow 12pm-10pm. You can purchase tickets online for $21.50 or $30 at the door, each ticket includes 5 sample vouchers. There will also be music as well as wine and spirit education throughout the festival.
